STOVE SERVICING
When sat infront of your stove with family and friends, you want it to look its best. We provide a stove service which can bring your stove back to life and leave it looking like new. This service will include a full strip down deep clean, removal and replacement of fire bricks if required, polishing the handles and air controls, glass clean, replacement of rope seals and also a touch up to the paintwork.
CHIMNEY SWEEPING
Sweeping your chimney before the winter months not only makes sure that any soot is removed so your fire burns as safely and efficiently as possible, it also ensures that any debris in the chimney is removed... that may have been put there by our feathered friends through the nesting period! You can add on the 'stove service' to your chimney sweep appointment, to get the most out of your stove!
CHIMNEY MAINTENANCE
Chimney pots and cowls don't last forever, they really do get the full force of the elements being the highest point on your house. From time to time you may need a new cowl or pot fitting to keep your chimney working at its best and keep the winter weather from finding its way inside. During spring the birds are looking for a place to bring up their chicks, make sure you have a bird guard or cowl fitted to keep them at bay.

Slaters Chimney Services began in 2020 after Tom took over a small, part time sweeping round from his Uncle. This was a change from his previous career as a car mechanic and MOT tester of 12 years but many of the practical skills he had from working on cars and using hand tools were very transferable.
Since then Tom has grown the business to a full time career and has also taken on two other rounds from local chimney sweeps that have retired or moved on from the trade.
We understand that when dealing with tradespeople there are three main things you want from them; good communication, reliability and high quality work. At Slaters Chimney Services these come first and foremost.
